ST3 stem & handlebar - Marrduk24 - 21.04.2021

Hi

I am in the US and this Stromer forum is more active. I am hoping a few members can Answer my questions in English.

For ST3 Stromer has two options for stems and 3 options for handlebar. By default ST3 sport comes with 5 degree stem and sweep handlebar (0 rise and 20 mm back sweep).

Has anyone had an experience with replacing both the stem and the handlebar? Ideally I would like to get the 20 degree stem that comes with Stromer ST3 comfort and riser handlebar (20 mm Rise, 20 mm Back Sweep) to make the riding position more upright.

Also I am 179cm tall and have inseam of 83 cms. What would be the right size for me? I was thinking medium but wasn’t sure if that would be too small.

No, I don't have.

The ideal position depends on the speed (especially in the corners) you want to ride. I believe, the M / 20" would fit well. You may raise your question at stromerforum.nl in Dutch.

Hi,

I own an ST3 with the urban comfort stem which is the +20 degree one. Also I had chosen the riser handle bar and overall frame size XL. My body height is 183 cm with average inseam I would say (can‘t measure it right now). For me it was a tight decision between frame size L and XL. For you I would definitely go with frame size L (M might be indeed too small) and I can only recommend the combination of the +20 degree stem and the riser handle bar.
