I bought an ebike kit for $ 100. It's basically a quiet engine that's built into my front wheel. A $ 200 lithium ion battery that is tiny and weights 3 lbs from Luna cycle powers the engine. You can not even tell I turned my mountain bike into an ebike. I zip around town and it's fun as bright. Visit the eBike sub it's pretty cool.
